Isabell Werth

Isabell Werth is a German dressage rider. She is six-time Olympic champion with a total of ten Olympic medals (6 × gold; 4 × silver), seven-time World Champion, fourteen-time European Champion and fourteen-time German Champion and thus the most successful rider and dressage rider of all times worldwide. At the CHIO Aachen 2018 she won the Dressage Grand Prix of Aachen for the twelfth time.

For the 2019 season Werth will be in the Olympic squad of German dressage riders with four horses (Bella Rose, Weihegold, Emilio, Don Johnson).

In December 2018 she was also ranked fi rst with Weihegold, third with Bella Rose and fourth with Emilio in the world rankings. Isabell Werth was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf for her equestrian performances. The 48-year-old fi nished third in the 2017 Sportswoman of the Year poll in December.
